Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, visited her new granddaughter at home yesterday (15.10.07).
Camilla - the wife of Britain?s Prince Charles - was "beaming" as she said goodbye to a sleeping baby Lola being carried by her daughter-in-law Sara and her son Tom Parker Bowles at their West London home.
An onlooker told Britain?s The Sun newspaper: "They were all happily chatting away. Camilla was absolutely beaming, she was obviously thrilled."
The duchess was eager to show off her new granddaughter to her waiting bodyguard and driver and invited them to come and meet the latest arrival to the family, who was wrapped tightly in a white blanket and wearing a cute pink bobble hat.
Camilla, 60, was obviously cautious of not tiring out the new mother and baby and only stayed for a brief time.
Prince Charles is not believed to have met his new step-granddaughter yet.
Fashion journalist Sara, 34, gave birth at London?s Queen Charlotte?s Hospital last Tuesday (09.10.07).
Sara and Tom - who is said to have a close relationship with stepfather Charles - married in 2005.
